Search Warrant at Labadieville Apartment Leads to 3 Arrests - Friday, January 16, 2009
Sheriff Mike Waguespack reports the on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, the APSO Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at 2968 Hwy 1 apartment #7 in Labadieville, LA.

During the search, Agents located and seized 19 individually packaged bags of marijuana valued at approximately $300 from a dresser in Eugene Russell's bedroom.

While the officers were executing the search warrant the owner of the apartment complex, Irvin Parker, continuously interfered with the deputies and several occasions threatened and cursed at them. After ignoring several commands to leave the immediate area Parker was placed under arrest. Parker's daughter, Tyre Banks, was in the suspect's apartment at the time of the search warrant and repeatedly threatened deputies which resulted in her arrest.

Charged with:Possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

Irvin Parker 65yoa of 2969 Hwy 1, Labadieville, LA.
Charged with: Entering or Remaining After Being Forbidden.

The investigation into area narcotics trafficking continues.
