Arrest Made in Vandalism at Veteran's Memorial Park in Pierre Part.

Sheriff Mike Waguespack reports that on April 23rd APSO investigators arrested a fourteen year old Pierre Part boy in connection with a vandalism at Veterans Memorial Park.
Investigators received information identifying the boy after a concerned citizen read a story about the incident in local newspapers.
The incident was first reported in early April when a member of the park building committee discovered the damage in the children's play area.
This matter has been referred to the juvenile court system.
