Narcotics Search Warrant Executed at 112 Creole Stree in Belle Rose Leads to Two Arrests. - Wednesday, August 26, 2009
Sheriff Mike Waguespack reports that on Tuesday, August 25, 2009, members of the Narcotics and Criminal Investigation Divisions executed a search warrant at 112 Creole Street in Belle Rose. The warrant was obtained after a Narcotics Investigator received information indicating that the twenty-eight year old resident, Dustin Landry, was trafficking in marijuana.

As a result of the search warrant investigators seized approximately one pound of marijuana, some of which was packaged for resale, and approximately six hundred dollars in cash. Dustin Landry and his twenty year old girlfriend, Krystie Landry of Baton Rouge, were arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The marijuana has an estimated street value of approximately $1000.

NOTE: The two arrestees have the same last name but are not related.
