Vandalism to Belle Rose Business - Thursday, March 4, 2010
On March 1, 2010, a business owner reported to the Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office that someone had damaged the property of his business (Errol's Cajun Food Inc, 6801 HWY 1001, BELLE ROSE) on February 27, 2010 by driving a truck onto the property and doing several ‘donuts' in the yard of the property. The owner further reported that upon viewing surveillance footage of the incident, the truck severely rutted up the yard of his property and threw gravel and mud all over the building and company vehicles.

During the investigation, Detectives learned that Jeremie Simmons may have been the person driving the truck that particular night. On March 2, 2010, Simmons confessed to Detectives that he did in fact drive his truck onto the property on February 27, 2010 and damaged the yard and building.

Subsequently, Simmons was charged with felony criminal damage to property and criminal trespassing and processed into the Assumption Parish Detention Center where he bonded on a $1,683.00 bond pending his court date.

Suspect info:
