Pierre Part Man Arrested for Simple Burglary and Criminal Damage to Property - Friday, December 24, 2010

On December 1, 2010, Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office received a complaint in reference to a burglary of a residence on Dino Extension Street in Pierre Part. The suspect entered into the residence using the attic drop-down door which is located under the carport and then busted through the kitchen ceiling. The owner of the residence was not home at the time and numerous items were stolen including a rifle, a shotgun, power tools, 2 Cabela gift cards, 2 flat screen televisions, jewelry, etc. There was also damage done to a Chevrolet Tahoe which was parked under the attic door in the carport.
