Napoleonville Man Arrested For Aggravated Rape and Pandering of a Mentally Retarded Woman - Wednesday, December 29, 2010

NAPOLEONVILLE--On December 10, 2010, a case worker with Adult Protective Services contacted Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office in reference to an adult female who may be a possible victim of rape. The case worker indicated that the victim had been hospitalized due to a suicidal condition. Adult Protective Services Report indicated that the victim reported to them that she was being forced to have sex with a member of her household. Adult Protective Services sent a copy of a Psychological Review of the victim noting that she functions in the Moderate Range of Mental Retardation.

Detectives conducted an audiotaped interview with the victim. In that interview, she advised that Kenneth Falgoust, age 51 of 240 Glenwood Road, Napoleonville, Louisiana, made her have sex with him. She advised that he would threaten to beat her and that this been going on for years. She advised that he also forced her to have sex with another man for money and this occurred approximately 4 times.

Kenneth Falgoust was taken into custody late Tuesday, December 28, 2010, and charged with Aggravated Rape and Pandering. He is incarcerated in the Assumption Parish Detention Center and Bond has not been set as of the time of this release.
