Round Up of Drug Suspects Wanted for Distribution of Controlled Dangerous Substances Executed in Assumption Parish---"OPERATION GET A REAL JOB" - Friday, January 14, 2011

Early this morning, Narcotics Agents began executing warrants in conjunction with a 9 month undercover operation named "Operation Get a Real Job”. The investigation's focus was to target street level and mid-level dealers of controlled dangerous substances. The cases involved undercover buys of various prescription pills (xanax, hydrocodone, oxycodone, endocet, fentanyle and amphetamine), crack cocaine and marijuana throughout Assumption Parish. These investigations and arrests were made with the team efforts of the following law enforcement agencies: Assumption Parish Sheriff's Narcotics Task Force, Louisiana State Police, St. James Sheriff's Office, St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office, West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office, Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office, St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office, St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff's Office , Thibodaux Police Department, Probation and Parole Officers and Investigators from the Louisiana Attorney General's Office.
