Subjects Arrested for Several Vehicle Burglaries in Belle River - Friday, July 29, 2011
During July of 2011 the Assumption Parish Sheriff Office received several complaints of vehicle burglaries in the Belle River Area. Most of the items taken from inside of the vehicles were identified as GPS devices, radar detectors, portable DVD players, cash, jewelry, and two hand guns. Investigators were able to identify the three following suspects involved in the burglaries. The suspects identified were Kayla Field, 20 year old from 437 Belle River Road, Pierre Part, Ryan Perrault, 17 year old from 2171 Rue Pinckney, Mandeville and Adrian Adels, 21 year old from 680 Nancy Street, Mandeville. Detectives contacted investigators from Mandeville to see if there were similar burglaries in their jurisdiction. Investigators stated that Adels had been arrested recently for car burglaries in their area, and that Perrault was a suspect in other cases. On 07/23/11 Adrian Adels was arrested in St. Tammany Parish for Burglary and several traffic violations and authorities later contacted APSO Detectives notifying us that one of our suspects was in custody. On 07/26/11 Detective Captain Darren Crochet interviewed Adrian Adels in Mandeville where he admitted to his participation in the Belle River burglaries and also implicated Perrault and Field's participation in the burglaries. Kayla Field was later interviewed and also confessed to her participation in the burglaries and to pawning some of the stolen items. Several of the stolen items were recovered from the vehicle driven by Adels and at a hotel room in St. Tammany Parish after a search warrant had been conducted. Both stolen guns were also recovered from individuals that bought the guns from Ryan Perrault.

All three suspects were charged on July 28, 2011 and booked with 8 counts of Simple Burglary for Assumption Parish on July 29, 2011. They also have pending charges in St Tammany Parish. No bonds have been set as of the time of this release and all subjects are being held at the Assumption Parish Detention Center.

This is an ongoing investigation.
