Napoleonville Man Arrested for 3 Counts of Indecent Behavior with Juvenile - Monday, April 16, 2012

On April 10th, 2012, The Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office received a complaint from a group of juvenile public school students regarding a man exposing his genitalia to several female juveniles (ages range from 11 to 13 years) as they waited for the morning school bus. According to statements given to APSO, the man was identified as Wesley "Koon” Kennedy (67yoa, of 107 Kennedy Street, Napoleonville, Louisiana). Witnesses stated that on the date of the 10th, Kennedy exited his residence and stood on his front porch and pulled his pants down and exposed his genitalia to the children. After this event, Kennedy retreated into his residence and allegedly reemerged a few minutes later wearing only a tee shirt and no bottoms. Witnesses say that a male student shouted at Kennedy and he went back into his residence.

On April 13th, a search warrant and an arrest warrant were granted by a 23rd Judicial District judge. On the same date, both warrants were executed and Kennedy was arrested and taken to the Assumption Parish Detention Center. Kennedy was charged with three counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile. Kennedy’s bond has been set at $30,000 and he is being held at the Assumption Parish Detention Center.
