On Tuesday Night February 5, 2013, a deputy was on routine patrol when he noticed a passenger throw what appeared to be a silver beer can out of a parked car located at 304 Jefferson Street in Napoleonville. He also noticed the driver bring a silver can to his mouth. The deputy approached the vehicle and asked what they were doing and they replied they were "just sitting and drinking”.
