Ice accumulations will be possible before it transitions over to snow. Possible
accumulations of snow could reach up to 4 inches in some areas, while possible
accumulations of ice could reach up to .25 inches.
Heaviest ice accumulations at this time are expected to occur along and south
of the I-10/12 corridor including Metro New Orleans.
Heaviest snow accumulations at this time are expected to occur north of the
I-10/12 corridor in the northern reaches of the north shore Parishes.
A Hard Freeze is expected as duration of below freezing temperatures can be 48
to 60 hours long.
