SUBJECT WANTED FOR TERRORIZING - Monday, May 19, 2014

BELLE ROSE--- Sheriff Mike Waguespack reports that on Friday, May 16, 2014 at approximately 6:45am, the Assumption Parish Sheriffs Office received a 911 call from Shelby Gaudet Contractors in Belle Rose. A subject that witnesses identified as Joseph Robertson, 48 y/o WM, of 825 Railroad Avenue, Morgan City, arrived at the business after having quit days earlier. Robertson asked to speak to a supervisor and told him "I got something for you come see.” The supervisor walks out to the vehicle where Robertson asks a female passenger if this is him. Robertson once again says, "Hold on, I got something for you” and proceeds to reach near the floorboard under the seat. Fearing that he had a gun, the supervisor ran back into the shop area yelling "I think he's got a gun” to let them know of the possible danger.

A warrant has been issued for 1 count of Terrorizing. This is an on-going investigation. Detective Darren Crochet is the lead investigator. If you have any information concerning this case or others, please contact the Criminal Investigative Division at 985-526-1627 or Communications Division at 985-369-2912.
