DOMESTIC DISPUTE RESULTS IN STABBING - Thursday, June 5, 2014

PIERRE PART --- Sheriff Mike Waguespack reports that on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2014 at approximately 6:42am, the Assumption Parish Sheriffs Office received a 911 call in reference to a male subject that had been stabbed with a knife.  Deputies made contact with a 61 year old W/M who resides at 815 N. Belle River Road, Pierre Part.  He stated that he and his girlfriend, Tammy Daley, 45 W/F who resides at 815 N. Belle River Road, Pierre Part, had gotten into a fight earlier in the morning and she had picked up a small kitchen knife and stabbed him in the chest.  Acadian ambulance transported the male subject to Teche Regional Hospital in Morgan City where he was admitted into the hospital due to a punctured lung.  He is still in the hospital as of the time of this release.

Tammy Daley was booked in the Assumption Parish Detention Center on June 3, 2014 for LA RS 14:34.1 Aggravated Second Degree Battery and LA RS 14:35.3 Domestic Abuse Battery.  Her bond has been set at $30,000 and she is still in custody as of the time of this release.  She is also on hold for probation and parole due to being on active supervised probation for Aggravated Second Degree Battery conviction in West Baton Rouge Parish.
