VEHICLE RUNS INTO HOUSE - Monday, December 15, 2014

PIERRE PART --- Sheriff Mike Waguespack reports that on Friday, December 12th, 2014 at approximately 6:45pm, Assumption Parish Dispatch received a call that a vehicle had run off the road and into a house. Investigation reveals that Joseph Marcus Dabadie, W/M, age 23, of 808 Blackburn Rd, Hammond, La. and two passengers were driving south on Bayou Drive in Pierre Part. The driver ran off the road destroying a gas meter and crashed into a house located at 446 Bayou Drive, knocking it off its foundation. The driver was transported to Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City and routine toxicology tests are pending.

Joseph M. Dabadie was booked in the Assumption Parish Detention Center on December 12th, 2014 for LRS 14:98 DWI 3rd Offense, LRS 32:861 Insurance Violation, LRS 32:415 Driving Under Suspension, LRS 32:79 Improper Lane Usage. His bond has not been set and he is still in custody as of the time of this release.
