PIERRE PART --- Sheriff Mike Waguespack
reports that on Monday, December 29th, 2014 at approximately 6:00am,
Assumption Parish Dispatch received a call that a white limo had pulled out in
front of a vehicle nearly running it off the road and then turned its lights
off. Deputies located the vehicle on
James Street in Pierre Part around 8:00am.
It was then determined that the limousine belonged to Williams and
Southall Funeral home and that no one had permission to use or take the
vehicle. The investigation by detectives
led to two subjects that were involved in a complaint earlier that morning.
Trey Hebert, W/M, age 18 of 118 David Street, Pierre Part and Brandon Morris,
age 17 of 118 David Street, Pierre Part had been taken to Assumption Community
Hospital in Napoleonville by Acadian Ambulance.
Afterwards, with no ride home, they began to hitchhike their way
home. Upon finding the limousine and its
keys inside, they stole it and drove back to Pierre Part and parked the car at
the end of James Street.
Trey M. Hebert was booked in the Assumption Parish Detention
Center on December 29th, 2014 for LRS 14:67.26 Theft of a Motor
Vehicle (Felony). His bond has not been
set and he has not bonded out as of the time of this release. Brandon Morris was booked in the Assumption Parish
