DEPUTY ARRESTED - Tuesday, January 27, 2015

PIERRE PART --- Sheriff Mike Waguespack reports that on Sunday, January 25th, 2015 at approximately 2:30am Assumption Parish Dispatch received a call about a domestic dispute. Deputies responded to 133 Daniel Street, Pierre Part and made contact with his wife. It was determined that deputy Gary Ellis, Jr, W/M, age 30 of 133 Daniel Street had been drinking all night at a party and an argument ensued upon returning home. Upon completion of all interviews of all parties involved, Patrol Deputy Gary Ellis, Jr., a 4 year veteran with the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office, was terminated from his employment earlier today.
