BAYOU L’OURSE ---
Waguespack reports that on Tuesday, March 10th, 2015 at approximately
10:45pm, Assumption Parish Narcotics agents executed a search warrant at 221
Aristile Road, Bayou L’Ourse. Agents
located numerous items hidden throughout the house that are used in the
manufacturing of Crystal Methamphetamine in what is known as the Shake-n-Bake
method. They also located materials used
in packaging drugs for sale. A good
portion of the items were hidden inside the sheetrock walls and attic of the
house. Chadwick Landry, W/M, age 43, of
221 Aristile Road, Morgan City was placed under arrest for the creation and
operation of a clandestine lab and possession of drug paraphernalia.
is an on-going investigation by the Assumption Parish Narcotics Division. Additional charges and arrests may follow
pending results from evidence submitted to the state Crime Lab.
Chadwick Landry was booked in the Assumption Parish
Detention Center on March 10th, 2015 for LRS 40:983 Creation of a
Clandestine Laboratory, LRS 40:1023 Possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond
has been set at $100,000 and he is still in custody as of the time of this
