SHAKE AND BAKE METH LAB - Friday, March 27, 2015

BAYOU L’OURSE --- Sheriff Mike Waguespack reports that on Tuesday, March 24th, 2015 at approximately 11:00pm, Assumption Parish Narcotics agents conducted an interview with William Fontenot, W/M, age 49 of 171 Hwy 663, Morgan City, La. Agents were given permission to search the residence at 180 Elaine Street, Morgan City by the homeowner and located numerous items hidden in a bucket belonging to William that are used in the manufacturing of Crystal Methamphetamine in what is known as the Shake-n-Bake method. William Fontenot was placed under arrest for the creation and operation of a clandestine lab, possession of schedule II (Crystal Meth) and resisting an officer.

William Fontenot was booked in the Assumption Parish Detention Center on March 25th, 2015 for LRS 40:983 Creation of a Clandestine Laboratory, LRS 40:967 Possession of Schedule II (Crystal Methamphetamine) and LRS 14:108 Resisting an Officer. His bond has been set at $61,000 and he is still in custody as of the time of this release.
