FAMILY DOLLAR STORE BURGLARY - Friday, April 10, 2015

PAINCOURTVILLE --- Sheriff Mike Waguespack reports that on 3 April 2015 at approximately 3:30am deputies responded to a burglary alarm at the Family Dollar store in Paincourtville on Highway 1 and found a broken window and trail of food items leading away from the business. Witnesses and video surveillance provided information that lead to Kentrell McNeil, B/M, age 38 of 6047 Crossover Road, Paincourtville who was found to be in possession of shopping bags and items from the store (candy and hot dogs).

Kentrell McNeil was booked in the Assumption Parish Detention Center on April 7th, 2015 for LRS 14:62, Simple Burglary, LRS 14:69 Possession of Stolen Things. His bond has been set at $5,683 and he is still in custody as of the time of this release.
