THEFT AND DAMAGE TO PROPERTY ARRESTS - Nicholas Leger and Two Juveniles - Friday, December 30, 2016

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of one adult and two juveniles facing multiple charges in connection with a November 21-22 crime spree in Pierre Part, LA.

Nicholas N. Leger, 22, of 133 North Bay Road, Pierre Part, LA and two 15-year-old juveniles have been arrested and charged with crimes involving criminal damage by sinking boats, cutting tires on vehicles, stealing assorted valuables at multiple locations from the Pierre Part Bay area to East Bayou Drive.  

The first juvenile arrested, a 15-year-old from St. Mary Parish was charged on December 27, 2016 with:

*Felony Theft (1 Count)

*Attempted Theft (1 Count)

*Simple Criminal Damage to Property (4 Counts)

*Misdemeanor Theft (1 Count)

*Criminal Mischief (2 Counts)

A 15-year-old Assumption Parish juvenile was booked on December 27, 2016 on counts of:

*Felony Theft (1 Count)

*Attempted Theft (1 Count)

*Simple Criminal Damage to Property (8 Counts)

*Criminal Mischief (1 Count)

Leger was booked with:

*Felony Theft (1 Count)

*Attempted Theft (1 Count)

*Contributing to the Delinquency of Juveniles (2 Counts)

*Simple Criminal Damage to Property (1Count)

*Criminal Mischief (1 Count)

Leger was arrested on December 27, 2016 and booked into the parish jail pending a bail hearing.    

The two juveniles were released to the custody of their parents.

The three suspects’ crimes involved 10 victims.
