PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon announces that the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office has received grant funding in conjunction with the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission for the 2017 "Buckle Up in Your Truck”, seatbelt campaign which will run from April 21 thru April 27, 2017 as well as the "Click it or Ticket”, campaign which will run from May 22 thru June 4, 2017.

These programs target the non-users of seatbelts in trucks and other automobiles in hopes of reducing fatalities and serious injuries in auto crashes, as well as building public awareness as to the advantages of using seatbelts.

The Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office will be dedicating grant resources as well as general office funding to concentrate on these important public awareness programs.
