SUBJECT:      RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – KADEEM WIGGINS

 

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Kadeem Jamal Wiggins, 23, of 129 Marshall Lane, Napoleonville, LA, in connection with the January 20, 2016 burglary of a residence near Napoleonville, LA.

On January 20, 2016, deputies responded to a residential burglary in which a flat screen TV and other assorted items were stolen.  Forced entry had been made through a window.

Through the interviewing of witnesses and the related investigation, Kadeem Jamal Wiggins was identified as a suspect and charges were filed.  Wiggins eluded authorities until Monday night when he was involved in an automobile crash near Napoleonville, LA.

Investigating deputies confirmed an active warrant charging Wiggins with simple burglary.  Wiggins was arrested and transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center where he was booked on counts of:

            *Simple Burglary

            *Careless Operation

            *No Driver’s License

Wiggins was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
