SUBJECT: AGGRAVATED BATTERY –
REGINALD C. WASHINGTON, JR.
NAPOLEONVILLE – Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the
arrest of Reginald C. Washington, Jr., 25, of 608 Martin Luther King Avenue,
Napoleonville, LA, following a dispute over money.
Deputies responded to a call at a residence near
Napoleonville and conducted an on-scene investigation which led officers to
Assumption Community Hospital where the victim was located.
Through information obtained during the investigation,
deputies learned that Washington and a relative got into a dispute over money
and at some point, the suspect repeatedly struck the victim in the head with a
bottle causing severe lacerations to the head and ear.
Washington presented himself for questioning and was
then placed under arrest, booked and incarcerated on a count of:
Battery with a Dangerous Weapon
Washington awaits a bond hearing.
