SUBJECT: ASSAULT / FIREARMS CHARGES –
NAPOLEONVILLE – Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest
of Javon Lacy, 22, of 701 St. Mary Street, Napoleonville, LA, on assault and
weapons charges following a Friday evening incident.
On Friday evening at approximately 7:45 p.m., deputies
responded to a complaint at a Napoleonville school in reference to a
disturbance and someone pointing a gun at someone there.
Deputies responded and began an investigation. There were statements taken from individuals
who identified Lacy as the violator.
Deputies located Lacy nearby and proceeded to interview him.
Based on witness statements as well as the interview
of Lacy, he was placed under arrest, transported to the Assumption Parish
Detention Center and booked on charges of:
Assault with a Firearm (5 Counts)
a Firearm or Dangerous Weapon by a Non-Student on School Premises
Deputies seized the firearms from Lacy. Bond on Lacy was set at $25,000 and he has
