Aggravated Battery - Tuesday, May 30, 2017

SUBJECT:      AGGRAVATED BATTERY – KATE HOLDER AND RANSOM HOLDER

 

PIERRE PART – Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Kate Holder, 26, of 29570 Highway 396 Gross Tete, LA, on felony charges after an incident at a Pierre Part Lounge early Monday.

Holder’s husband had been asked to leave the lounge as an unruly patron.  As deputies attempted to remove the subject, Kate Holder, on behalf of her husband, became confrontational.  She was arrested, transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center and booked on charges of:

            *Aggravated Battery

            *Interfering with a Lawful Law-Enforcement Investigation

            *Disturbing the Peace

            *Entering or Remaining After Being Forbidden

She remains incarcerated in lieu of $12,000.

 

Ransom Holder was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on counts of:

            *Public Intimidation                           *Aggravated Battery

            *Simple Assault                                  *Criminal Damage to Property (2 Counts)

            *Resisting Arrest by Force or Violence

            *Disturbing the Peace (2 Counts)

            *Entering or Remaining After Being Forbidden

Ransom Holder and Kate Holder could face additional counts once deputies complete their investigation.

Ransom Holder remains jailed pending a bond hearing.
