NAPOLEONVILLE Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Huey J. Hue, 54, of 136 James Street, Pierre Part, LA, for failing to meet the requirements for registering as a sex offender.

Hue was convicted in 2001 for Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile.  At the time, he was sentenced to 5 years with the Department of Corrections and upon release, he was ordered to serve 5 years of supervised probation.  As part of that probation, Hue was ordered to register as a sex offender and to maintain registration requirements throughout his supervised release.

Since his conviction, Hue has been charged twice with Failing to Meet Registration Requirements and once for using social media as a sex offender.

Hue has now been charged a third time for Failing to Meet the Requirements for Registering as a Sex Offender.

Hue was arrested on Thursday, booked and incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
