TIMOTHY W. COLLIER, TANNER J. SCARBROUGH and a JUVENILE

 

 

BAYOU L'OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Timothy Wayne Collier, 18, of 214 Texas Street, Berwick, LA; Tanner Joseph Scarbrough, 17, of 2115 Bayou Black Drive, Houma, LA and a 16-year-old juvenile in connection with a residential burglary in Bayou L’Ourse on August 25, 2017.

 

Deputies responded and were advised by the owner that as she arrived at her residence, she noted several subjects running from the home.

 

Detectives responded and immediately began processing the crime scene and interviewing potential witnesses.  Those witnesses were able to identify Collier, Scarbrough and the juvenile as three suspects.

 

Detectives and officers from Morgan City Police Department were able to locate the three suspects at a Morgan City motel.  Detectives recovered evidence connected to the crime at the motel.

 

Detectives interviewed the three suspects and determined that Collier and the juvenile had been staying at the residence when the owner was away.

 

Scarbrough is accused of Burglarizing the home and stealing two guns on the day they were discovered.

 

All three were arrested, transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center and booked as follows:

 

            Timothy Collier –

                        *Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling (1 Count)

                        *Illegal Possession of a Stolen Firearm (1 Count)

                        *

            Tanner Scarbrough –

                        *Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling (1 Count)

                        *Simple Criminal Damage to Property

                       

The juvenile was booked on one count of Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling and released to the custody of a guardian.

 

Bond on Collier is set at $25,000.

 

Bond on Scarbrough is set at $12,500.

 

Both remain incarcerated.
