BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland
Falcon reports the arrest of Jamie Ivy, 34, of 109 Andras Street, Bayou L’Ourse,
LA, on charges related to the burglary of an automobile.
On September 4, 2017, deputies responded to a
complaint of an automobile burglary in Bayou L’Ourse. Deputies reviewed video footage from a
location near where the theft occurred.
The deputy recognized the subject on the video as Jamie Ivy.
Deputies went to Ivy’s home where he was located. Ivy was questioned and subsequently admitted
to his participation in the burglary.
Deputies were able to recover three cell phones that
were stolen from the automobile in question.
Ivy was arrested, transported to the Assumption Parish
Detention Center and booked on charges of:
Burglary (Motor Vehicle)
Ivy’s bond was set at $25,000. He remains incarcerated.
