SUBJECT:      DRUG LAW VIOLATION – CHRISTOPHER JOSEPH LANDRY

 

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Christopher Landry, 43, of 169 Highway 401, Napoleonville, LA, on charges related to a traffic stop early Wednesday morning.

Narcotics agents observed a vehicle near Napoleonville leaving a residence.  Agents had prior knowledge that the driver, identified as Christopher Landry had a suspended driver’s license.

Deputies executed a stop of the vehicle and proceeded to interview the driver.  At some point, deputies observed that suspect drop an item to the ground.  Upon further investigation, it was determined that the item the suspect dropped contained a notable amount of meth-amphetamine.

Landry was arrested, transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center and booked on charges of:

            *Possession of Meth-Amphetamine (One Count)

Landry was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
