– Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports two unrelated arrest on fugitive
warrants from other jurisdictions early Tuesday morning.
patrol deputy in Pierre Part observed Marty J. Leonard at a business
establishment on LA 70 shortly after midnight Tuesday. The deputy verified through the communications
division that there were outstanding warrants for the arrest of Marty J.
Leonard, 29, of 63285 Rose Drive, Plaquemine, LA. The warrants were fugitive warrants for
Leonard’s arrest for failure to appear originating in St. Martin Parish on
charges of theft and criminal trespass.

incarcerated pending transfer to St. Martin Parish.
the second arrest, Jeremy D. Williams, 30, of 332 Tigerville Lane, Belle Rose,
La, was arrested at a Belle Rose address after deputies confirmed fugitive
warrants for his arrest existed from Ascension, East Baton Rouge and St. James
