Traffic Stop / Drug Law Violations - Wednesday, September 20, 2017

SUBJECT:      TRAFFIC STOP / DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS TOBY MABILE

 

PAINCOURTVILLE Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Toby Mabile, 32, of 115 Roy Street, Plattenville, LA, on charges related to a traffic stop near Paincourtville, LA early Wednesday.

Narcotics agents working a known high drug trafficking area observed a vehicle being operated by an individual known to be driving under suspension.  Agents stopped the vehicle and proceeded to interview the driver and two other occupants.  Agents then ordered pat-down searches of the three for safety purposes and did locate a quantity of meth-amphetamine and assorted drug paraphernalia.

Based on the interview of all three subjects, Toby Mabile was arrested, transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center and booked on counts of:

            *Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

            *Possession of Meth-Amphetamine

Mabile was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
