SUBJECT:      VIOLATION OF PROTECTIVE ORDER / 2ND OFFENSE

DORIN CHARLES KENNEDY

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Dorin Charles Kennedy, 36, of 106 Paul Frederick Street, Luling, LA, on charges related to violations of a protective order.

On Wednesday morning, deputies responded to a complaint from a female who indicated that she had previously filed a restraining order on Dorin Charles Kennedy and he had violated the order a second time by showing up at her home.

The deputy accompanied the victim back to her residence at which time the door to her shed was closed which was unusual.  The deputy opened the shed door and observed the suspect laying on the floor covered up by a blanket.  The deputy, having verified a protective order in force against Kennedy, placed him under arrest for violation of a protective order.

The suspect after being arrested, made verbal threats to the victim.

Kennedy was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center pending a bond hearing.
