Drug Law Violation / Traffic Stop - Tuesday, October 10, 2017

SUBJECT:      DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS / TRAFFIC STOP – DYLAN BOLING

 

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Dylan Boling, 21, of 340 Hwy. 662, Bayou L’Ourse, LA, on drug and traffic charges following an incident early Saturday.

A uniformed patrol officer observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation on LA 662 in Bayou L’Ourse and attempted to execute a traffic stop on the vehicle.

The vehicle fled and the driver jumped out of the vehicle at a Bayou L’Ourse residence and fled inside.

The deputy was able to apprehend the suspect, identified as Boling.

The deputy then observed a quantity of suspected marijuana as well as drug paraphernalia in plain view in the suspect vehicle.

Boling was arrested, transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center and booked on charges of:

            *No License Plate

            *Flight from an Officer

            *Careless Operation

            *Turning Signals Required

            *Resisting an Officer

            *Possession of Marijuana (Third Offense)

            *Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Boling was incarcerated and later released on bond.
