PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Addie Breaux, 35, of 321 Shell Beach Road, Pierre Part, LA, in connection with an incident which occurred on July 16, 2017.

On that date, Sheriff’s deputies responded to a complaint of a theft from a residence on Bayou Drive.  The resident advised that a bank card and cash had been stolen.

Investigators learned that the victim had a physical infirmity that prevented him from observing activity around him.

Through investigation, detectives were able to identify four suspects including Addie Breaux who was transferred to the Assumption Parish Detention Center from the Morgan City Jail on Tuesday.

Breaux was booked on one count of Exploitation of the Infirmed and incarcerated pending a bond hearing.  She was also charged on a failure to appear warrant.

Terry Ganell, 51, of 125 Mam and Pap Drive had already been arrested.

Arrest warrants remain outstanding on Kasey Thomas, 32 and Austin Albarado, 25, both of 111 Rue De Kajun Street, Pierre Part, LA, in connection with the case.  Both are presently incarcerated in another facility.

All four suspects were arrested at a Morgan City motel following the incident.  Investigators recovered some of the stolen items at the motel.
