SUBJECT:      THEFT / BURGLARY – TABITHA LOUISE WILLIAMS

 

PAINCOURTVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Tabitha Louise Williams, 31, of 10140G Gate Street, Convent, LA, on charges related to a 2014 burglary and a theft which occurred on December 12, 2017.

Sheriff’s Detectives filed warrants against Williams after a 2014 incident in which she entered a residence near Paincourtville, LA and stole money and other related items.

On December 12, 2017, Williams allegedly entered a Parish business and stole a vendor’s order computer, then contacted the vendor and demanded money for the computer’s return.  Warrants were issued for Williams’ arrest in that case as well.

Williams was arrested by St. James Parish authorities on Wednesday, transferred to Assumption Parish and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

            *Simple Burglary

            *Theft of Goods (2 Counts, Felony)

            *Theft of Goods (2 Counts, Misdemeanor)

Williams was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
