Felony Theft - Wednesday, February 14, 2018

PLATTENVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Bradley Grisaffe, 23, of 304 Canal Street, Napoleonville, LA in connection with a theft complaint filed on January 16, 2018.

On that date, deputies responded to a complaint of a theft that occurred between November of 2017 and January 16, 2018.  Grisaffe was a person of interest as he was related to the victim and had frequented the victim’s home during the relative period.

During the investigation, detectives learned that jewelry and currency valued at $8,000 had been stolen.

Detectives developed information that Grisaffe had sold the jewelry to a Donaldsonville business.  Investigators contacted the business and confirmed that Grisaffe had sold the jewelry. 

Detectives questioned Grisaffe leading to his arrest on February 9, 2018.

Grisaffe admitted to committing the theft.

Grisaffe was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

            *Felony Theft (Valued at $5,000-$25,000)

Grisaffe was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
