15TH ANNIVERSARY – LINE OF DUTY DEATH

Today, March 1, 2021, marks the 15th anniversary of the line of duty death of Sheriff’s Deputy Sergeant Jeremy Newchurch.

Sergeant Newchurch was tragically killed while conducting a narcotics related investigation on March 1, 2006.

All of us at the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office thank Jeremy for making the greatest sacrifice one can make.

Let us keep Jeremy and his family in our heartfelt prayers on this difficult day.
