2021 SPECIAL WAVE GRANT – “CLICK IT OR TICKET” CAMPAIGN
SEATBELT ENFORCEMENT

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon announces that the 2021 “Click It or Ticket” Campaign will begin on May 24, 2021 and run through May 31, 2021.

The “Click It or Ticket” Campaign is a combined effort of the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission, The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration and the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office.

The objective of the program is to reduce fatal and injury crashes on Louisiana roadways.

Our deputies at the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office will utilize grant funds to enforce current seat belt mandates during the relevant period.

We advise everyone to adhere to the seatbelt laws currently in place.

Again, “Click It or Ticket” will begin on May 24, 2021 and will conclude on May 31, 2021.
