2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR BEGINS THIS THURSDAY, AUGUST 6-SHERIFF LELAND FALCON
NAPOLEONVILLE –Sheriff Leland Falcon takes this opportunity to address the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year.
“I hope that all of our students and school staff had an enjoyable summer break and first and foremost, a safe summer.
Once again, the sheriff’s summer sports programs were very well received and attended. I thank all parents and children for allowing us to be part of your summer.
This coming Thursday, we start the next chapter of the lives of every child who will begin school in Assumption and surrounding areas. We want this to be the best and safest year yet.
Buses and student drivers will take the roads to get to their destinations.
We ask everyone to obey all school zone related laws and understand as always, there will be kinks to work out until all students are settled in their respective school. Expect heavy traffic congestion.
Please be cognizant of buses picking up or dropping off children and please obey bus warning signals.
If parents have student drivers, please address with them safe driving.
I want to wish everyone a great 2026-2027 school year.”
