34TH ANNUAL LOUISIANA D.A.R.E. CONFERENCE
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon welcomed the class of the 34th Annual Louisiana D.A.R.E. Conference hosted by the Metro District. The D.A.R.E. conference strives to develop new strategies and identify new trends to be addressed by the changing times.
Attending from Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office were D.A.R.E. Officers, Marsha Giroir, Veronica Bradford, and Dymonic Oliver.
The conference was held from July 14th thru July 18th at the Higgins Hotel in New Orleans.
This year, the participating D.A.R.E. officers took an entourage of children to the Audubon Zoo, to the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Office for gun safety and closed out entertainment with a visit to a bowling alley.
Sheriff Falcon expresses a huge THANK YOU to all departments who participated in this year’s district conference and wishes all D.A.R.E. officers they very best in the 2025 – 2026 School Year.
