FELONY THEFT – IDENTITY THEFT
VICTORIA ARNOLD
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Victoria Arnold, 36, of 270 Highway 1007, Napoleonville, LA, on felony charges related to the recent theft of funds from a private individual.
On April 21, 2021, uniformed patrol deputies responded to a complaint near Napoleonville into the theft of funds from a personal bank account. Upon arrival, deputies interviewed the victim who indicated that he had been in a relationship with Victoria Arnold. That relationship ended several days ago.
The victim, at some point, discovered that there were 9 transactions penned to his bank account through a cash app and a total of $3900 was stolen from that account.
Deputies launched an investigation and determined that there indeed had been 9 transactions of withdrawing funds from the account between March 12. 2021 and March 17, 2021.
Deputies were able to identify Victoria Arnold as the suspect resulting in multiple warrants being issued for her arrest.
Victoria Arnold was arrested on Saturday in Ascension Parish. The suspect was transferred and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Theft – Felony
*Identity Theft – Felony
Victoria Arnold was released on a $25,000 commercial bond.
