PROBATION VIOLATION – MITCHELL WAYNE BODIN

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Mitchell Wayne Bodin, 33, of 618 Barataria Street, Lockport, LA, on a warrant charging him with a probation violation.

Mitchell Wayne Bodin was convicted on March 29, 2022 of Possession of Adderall in Assumption Parish.

As a result of that conviction, Mitchell Wayne Bodin was placed on supervised probation for two (2) years. Bodin was ordered to comply with specific conditions of his probation and failed to do so. As a result, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Mitchell Wayne Bodin on November 2, 2022.

Mitchell Wayne Bodin was arrested by the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office on December 8, 2022. Bodin was released to Assumption Parish on Monday.

Mitchell Wayne Bodin was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Probation Violation
*Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on August 23, 2022 on a charge of Cruelty to Animals (Simple and Aggravated)

Mitchell Wayne Bodin was ordered held without bond on the Probation Violation and awaits a bond hearing on the Failure to Appear charge.
