AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITH A FIREARM

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Roger Dale Davila, 43, of 115 Dino Street, Pierre Part, LA, on felony aggravated assault charges arising from an incident in Pierre Part on Wednesday afternoon.

Deputies were dispatched to the 4000 block of LA 70 in reference to threats of bodily harm with a firearm. Deputies made contact with the two complainants who advised that Roger Dale Davila had driven to an area nearby where the complainants were located and communicated threats towards the two, displayed a firearm and pointed it at them. The suspect left the area.

Deputies located Roger Dale Davila at his residence at which time he was arrested. Deputies seized a large caliber handgun from Davila’s vehicle.

Roger Dale Davila was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Aggravated Assault with a Firearm – 2 Counts

Roger Dale Davila was released after posting a $50,000 commercial bond.
