AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITH A FIREARM -TYNEISHA NICOLE RAINEY, DOMINQUINKA MARIE GRAY

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Tyneisha Nicole Rainey, 36, of 119 Violet Street, Labadieville, LA, on felony aggravated assault charges arising from a disturbance at the aforementioned address on Wednesday afternoon.

Deputies were dispatched to the location and made contact with one of the involved parties now identified as Tyneisha Nicole Rainey who advised that she was involved in an argument that turned physical with an individual now identified as Dominquinka Marie Gray, 34, of 173 Violet Street, Labadieville, LA.

During the physical altercation, Tyneisha Nicole Rainey retrieved a firearm and fired two shots into the ground near Dominquinka Marie Gray.

At the conclusion of the investigation, deputies arrested Tyneisha Nicole Rainey and booked her into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Aggravated Assault with a Firearm
*Illegal Use of Weapons or Dangerous Instrumentalities
*Simple Battery

Tyneisha Nicole Rainey remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.

Dominquinka Marie Gray was booked on a count of:

*Simple Battery

Dominquinka Marie Gray remains incarcerated pending a bond proceeding.
