AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITH A FIREARM
HARRISON KENTRELL COUPEL

BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Harrison Kentrell Coupel, 28, of 212 Simmons Road, Napoleonville, LA, on felony gun law violations arising out of a Tuesday morning incident near Belle Rose.

On Tuesday, deputies were dispatched to the area of Cosa Natural Road near Belle Rose in reference to an assault.

Upon arrival, deputies made contact with two individuals, one of which was Harrison Kentrell Coupel. At this time Coupel advised that he was the person that had the gun. Coupel further advised as to the location of the firearm at which time deputies were able to recover the gun.

Deputies then traveled to another location and made contact with two separate individuals who indicated that an altercation over a mobile home had occurred near Cosa Natural Road and Harrison Kentrell Coupel had brandished a firearm.

Based on the information provided by all parties, Harrison Kentrell Coupel was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Aggravated Assault with a Firearm (2 Counts)

Harrison Kentrell Coupel remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
