AGGRAVATED BATTERY – EARL JAMES KENNY
LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Earl James Kenny, 33, of 708 Barbier Avenue, Thibodaux, LA, arising out of a domestic incident that occurred on Monday at a residence on Violet Street off of LA 308 north of Labadieville.
A uniformed patrol deputy was flagged down by a male subject, now identified as Earl James Kenny, who advised that he had just been in an altercation with his wife on Violet Street.
The deputy conducted an interview of Earl James Kenny and noticed him to have blood on his forehead and clothing. It was determined that Kenny’s injury was caused by a broom stick after Kenny went to the Violet Street address to retrieve his personal belongings.
At this time, the wife and three kids arrived on scene to speak to the deputy.
At the conclusion of the investigation, deputies determined that Earl James Kenny had physically engaged his wife and juvenile son causing injury to them at the Violet Street home.
Deputies observed physical injuries to both the wife and the son sufficient for them to seek medical treatment.
Earl James Kenny was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Aggravated Battery – 2 Counts
Earl James Kenny remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
