AGGRAVATED BATTERY – QUITANA MARIE GRAY KENNY

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Quitana Marie Gray Kenny, 33, of 110A Violet Street, Labadieville, LA, on felony charges arising from an incident at a Labadieville residence on January 18, 2023.

On the aforementioned date, deputies were dispatched to a residence off of LA 308 in Labadieville in connection to a disturbance.

Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the complainant who advised that Quitana Marie Gray Kenny came to the location to confront her over a dispute involving money.

That dispute led to Quitana Marie Gray Kenny picking up a candleholder and throwing it at the victim, striking her in the face. The victim was transported to a regional hospital for medical care.

Quitana Marie Gray Kenny was gone prior to deputies arriving. A warrant was applied for and granted for her arrest.

Quitana Marie Gray Kenny turned herself into the Sheriff’s Office on Monday evening. She was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

Quitana Marie Gray Kenny posted a $25,000 commercial bond.
