AGGRAVATED BATTERY WITH A DANGEROUS WEAPON

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Steven Matthew Johnson, 27, of 5751 Highland Road, Baton Rouge, LA, on felony charges following a disturbance at a residence in Bertrandville.
Deputies were called to a location on Friday evening. Upon arrival, deputies were advised that an incident had occurred and a subject had thrown bleach on at least two people. The unidentified suspect had left the home.
Deputies began to search for the suspect vehicle and located it nearby to where the incident occurred.
Positive identification was made as being Steven Matthew Johnson.
Deputies returned to the scene. Following additional investigation, Steven Matthew Johnson was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Aggravated Battery with a Dangerous Weapon
*Resisting an Officer
Johnson was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
