ARMED ROBBERY – DEONDRE D. HOLMES

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Deondre D. Holmes, 25, of 501 Oak Terrace Trailer Park, Lot 1E, Thibodaux, LA, on felony charges related to a reported armed robbery which occurred on August 9, 2020 near Labadieville, LA.

On the aforementioned date, deputies responded to a complaint of a reported armed robbery

Deputies made contact with and interviewed the reported victim, who indicated that he was at a small private gathering at a location near Labadieville when an unidentified male subject walked up, pointed a gun at him and demanded money.

The suspect netted a quantity of U.S. currency during the robbery and departed the scene by vehicle. The victim provided investigators a description of the vehicle and the suspect.

During the investigative process, the victim was able to identify the suspect.

Detectives issued warrants for Deondre D. Holmes on Wednesday. Deondre D. Holmes was arrested and booked on charges of:

*Armed Robbery
*Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon

Deondre D. Holmes was previously convicted of attempted second degree murder.

Deondre D. Holmes remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
