ARREST – ARMED ROBBERY- HOME INVASION
JARED MARCUS WIGGINS, KENDELL MICHAEL GALE
LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jared Marcus Wiggins,31, of 8138 Jones Dr., St. James, La., on felony armed robbery charges arising from a home invasion and armed robbery which occurred on July 7, 2025, on Violet Street near Labadieville.
On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to a call in which the complainant indicated that multiple suspects had made forced entry into a home and held the occupants at gunpoint while robbing the victims and stealing items from the home.
Deputies arrived on scene and initiated an investigation.
Responding deputies recovered numerous items of evidence including clothing, firearms, and electronics evidence in and around the crime scene.
As a result of extensive investigation, detectives were able to identify multiple suspects including Jared Marcus Wiggins and Kendell Michael Gale, 27, of 1284 Collins Street, Vacherie, La. Detectives secured warrants for the arrest of Jared Marcus Wiggins and Kendell Michael Gale on May 04,2026.
Jared Marcus Wiggins was arrested by the St. James Parish Sheriff’s Office on May 8,2026. Wiggins was released to the custody of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office on May 8,2026. Jared Marcus Wiggins was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Armed Robbery
*Home Invasion
*False Imprisonment: Offender Armed with a Dangerous Weapon -4 counts
Jared Marcus Wiggins remains incarcerated and was ordered held without bond.
Kendell Michael Gale was determined to be incarcerated in the Terrebonne Parish Correctional Facility. A detainer was placed requesting his transfer to Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office upon his release from Terrebonne Parish.
Kendell Michael Gale faces charges of:
*Armed Robbery
*Home Invasion
*False Imprisonment: Offender Armed with a Dangerous Weapon -4 counts
